Nov 12, 2026

Join us at the LICAGE Congress 2026!

Experience two days of cutting-edge science, multidisciplinary collaboration, and innovation in liver intensive care and transplantation in Lyon, 12–13 November 2026 !

The LICAGE Congress 2026 will bring together experts, clinicians, nurses, researchers, and trainees from a wide range of disciplines around the world.

Acute Liver Disease and ICU Care

The congress will explore the evolving challenges of acute liver failure and decompensated cirrhosis in the ICU, focusing on the latest advances in monitoring, organ support, and emerging therapeutic strategies.

Liver Transplantation: Full Perioperative Perspective

Liver transplantation will be a central focus, covering the entire perioperative journey. Sessions will examine transplant prioritization and the optimization of pre- and perioperative care, including prehabilitation, cardiovascular assessment, and patient blood management. Post-transplant challenges such as personalized immunosuppression and structured rehabilitation will also be thoroughly discussed.

Organ Donation: Clinical and Ethical Perspectives

Organ donation will be addressed from both clinical and ethical perspectives. The congress will review advances in DBD management, explore global variability in DCD practices, and discuss contemporary challenges in expanding the donor pool.

Artificial Intelligence in Liver Transplantation

LICAGE 2026 will highlight the growing role of artificial intelligence in transplantation. Sessions will focus on AI-driven patient prioritization, donor–recipient matching, perioperative risk prediction, and graft complication management, while addressing the ethical and practical implications of integrating AI into clinical practice.

We sincerely thank our sponsors for their invaluable support, which makes this congress possible and advances research and clinical practice in liver intensive care.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lyon for two inspiring days of knowledge sharing, multidisciplinary collaboration, and discovery.
